NEXT LICENSE EXAM

National Exit Test (abbreviated as NEXT) is an examination for all the MBBS students in India, which requires passing the final year and obtain a license to practice medicine. In 2021, the National Medical Commission (NMC) amended the regulations of foreign medical graduates (FMGs), which stated the requirement for the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam. Candidates intending to practice in India will have to clear NEXT within two years of completing their medical studies abroad. As per NMC, the mock test of NEXT will take place in 2022.
